{"id":131,"date":"2004-03-24T07:14:50","date_gmt":"2004-03-24T12:14:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hushbeck.com\/blog\/?p=131"},"modified":"2004-03-24T07:14:50","modified_gmt":"2004-03-24T12:14:50","slug":"coverage-of-polls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hushbeck.com\/blog\/2004\/03\/coverage-of-polls\/","title":{"rendered":"Coverage of Polls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the things I have always found interesting in this stage of Presidential campaigns is how when the democrat is ahead in the polls we hear about the polls all the time, but when the Republican is gaining, or ahead in the polls, suddenly the polls don\u2019t seem to be all that news worthy any more.<\/p>\n<p>A few weeks ago Kerry was ahead in the polls and it seemed that every night in there was reports about Kerry\u2019s lead. But then suddenly Bush began his campaign and Kerry had a few bad weeks, and news about polls virtually disappeared.
