When Will We Learn

We have now had the third significant school shooting by a trans shooter (the other were Madison, Wisconsin, and Nashville, Tennessee), with many smaller violent acts by trans individuals. The Left immediately came out condemning not only guns, but prayer. A few nut-cases even tried to blame Trump and White Supremacy. Rosie O’Donnell said, “What do you know, it was a white guy, a republican, MAGA person.” She later, sort of, apologized for this statement, by saying, “I assumed, like most shooters, they followed a standard MO and had standard, you know, feelings of… You know, NRA-loving kind of gun people.”  Well, it is at least clear where her bigotry comes from.

Elected officials like the Mayor in Minneapolis seem more interested in protecting their status as a Trans Sanctuary than in protecting Catholic kids.   They had no idea of the motive, but were insistent that this should not change their Trans Sanctuary policies. Meanwhile, other Democrats, such as Mamdani, want to expand Tans policies, such as the so-called “Gender Affirming” care. In Temecula, California, near where we lived, the school board wanted to require either a religious or mental health exemption if a girl did not want to change in front of a male. Both of these would go on their records and could adversly affect them. At least after testimony from two eighth-grade girls and many parents, they tabled the measure.

Overt discrimination against Christians is increasing, and like antisemitism, it is coming from the Left. George Yancey, professor of sociology at Baylor University, found that Americans, in general, dislike conservative Christians even more than Muslims. He also found in a survey of academics that “half would be less willing to hire a fundamentalist, and almost two in five would be less willing to hire an evangelical.”

The three school shootings by trans people are not aberrations. Acts of violence against Christians and churches are growing as well. In one report, from May 2020 to November 2022, there were 230 attacks on Catholic Churches in 39 states. Many churches now have armed guards. Two years ago, Gov Walz was warned by Catholic leaders about this increasing threat to safety, but did nothing.

Affirming children’s mental illness causes harm. This is just common sense. Should we treat a bulimic girl by affirming her view that she is too fat, as she starves herself to death? Of course not. Any ambiguity in the science has long since disappeared. Great Britain recently ended Trans surgery on children because it is barbaric and does not help. But the Left here puts ideology over science and common sense. They still are fighting to continue to mutilate children. Affirming mental illness does not help; it harms.

On a different note, we got shadow-banned. Our series on Gaming and IT had a first day that was close to, if not our best ever. Our views were significantly larger than our average, and we had more new subscribers the first day than any of our other videos over their entire run. Again, that was just the first day. Most of our videos are released on Tuesday, and they build with the best numbers on Friday and Saturday.

Yet, the views for this video dropped drastically, virtually to zero. We wondered what happened. Then part two was released, and it was one of our lowest views ever. After a few days, we only have 13 views and four likes, most from the first day. When we checked the analytics, we had a fantastic click-through rate, 25%. A good one is 2-3. The problem was impressions: how many people saw the image of the video so they could click through? They are not showing it to anyone; they were shadow-banning us.

Why? The video was about troubles in the gaming industry, which we generalized to the IT industry. We see the problems as consolidation and companies putting profit over customer service. While we cited X-Box laying off 9,000 and closing studios to introduce the “Trouble in gaming,” we did not focus on any company but talked in general terms. Controversial, perhaps, but worthy of censorship? Sadly, there is not much we can do about it.

So, what will democracy look like in 10 years when a few mega IT companies control virtually all communications in the country? They could shadow ban anything they do not like and, with AI, could do so. This is why I recommended Zuboff’s book, The Age of Surveillance Capitalism, a few years back. If you have not read it yet, you should. We will probably do a video on this, but it will likely be shadow-banned.

In the last elections, Republicans, for the first time, effectively leveraged text messages, which helped communications with the base. Republicans in the campaign have said this was an important part of their winning strategy. So, Apple is about to roll out a new feature that will effectively neutralize this. Perhaps this is all just a coincidence, but how would we know? We know they shadow-banned conservatives in the past. Can we really trust them?

Even the D.C. Mayor now agrees that Trump’s sending in the National Guard worked. Crime dropped drastically, and D.C. is safer. A recent poll following the Guard’s arrival showed that 83% of respondents agreed with Trump that crime in major cities is a problem, and 53% agreed with his handling of crime.

I have seen some complaints that the Guard is “just picking up trash.”  Clearly, these people have never been in the military. I saw this, and it brought back memories. While there is much waiting around in the military, being set out to “police” an area, i.e., pick up trash, is just a routine task. When I saw that, it told me that Trump’s plan was working. They had secured the areas they were assigned. Once that was done, they cleaned it up rather than just standing around. It is what they do.

I am not surprised, but bias remains at the major network. They had zero minutes on the illegal alien who killed three people in Florida, but 18 minutes on Garcia. If it fits the Left’s agenda, it gets covered. If it does not, it gets minimal coverage, if any at all.

I would point out that not only did he kill three people, but this resulted in a change to national policy to try to prevent illegals from getting commercial driver’s licenses. It would not surprise me to see the networks cover the change as yet another example of Trump’s attack on “black and brown people,” without ever mentioning the why, as after the crash, he failed an English test and could not correctly identify road signs. Though I am not sure that would have helped, I do not remember ever seeing a No-U-Turn sign on a freeway.

Question:  Why do top Democrat Contenders for President 1) say Trump will cancel all future elections to stay in office and 2) hire staff for their 2028 run. Could it be the same reason Obama said climate change was a real threat and then purchased beachfront property?

The DNC wrapped up its conference this week. Land acknowledgements, reaffirmed support for Trans, and deranged statements about Trump. They not only continued their support for DEI, but one speaker said that it was the core of Christianity. Whether or not you believe it happened, the core of Christianity for 2000 years has been the salvific death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

On land acknowledgements, what do they really mean without any plans to give back the “stolen land?” Also, we know from DNA analysis and linguistic studies that there were multiple waves of people on this continent. The peoples in the U.S. and Canada were part of a later wave, not the first. There were warring tribes and peaceful tribes. So why must the most recent settlers give land acknowledgements to the second most recent settlers? Should the second also give land acknowledgements to the third most recent and they the fourth? Who today is not living on so-called “stolen land.”

So in recent months, the Democrats have stood up for gang members, pedophiles, murderers, rapists, human traffickers, wife beaters, just to name a few categories, while vilifying law enforcement. Trump has made D.C. safer, yet they complain that he threatens to do the same to other major cities. In Chicago, there were at least seven murders and 37 injuries in gun violence over the weekend. Yet |Mayor Brandon is focused on “protecting” the town from Trump, by issuing an Executive Order prohibiting law enforcement from working with Federal Officers or the National Guard. He said, “We will protect our Constitution, we will protect our city, and we will protect our people.” The butcher’s bill from the weekend says otherwise. As for “protecting the Constitution, he evidently does not know of the supremacy clause.

If they were really interested in protecting people, Democrats could make these cities safer themselves. In response to Trump’s threats, there have been some steps in that direction, but how do they do it without upsetting the far Left? Yet again, they are on the wrong side of an 80-20 issue, and according to one poll, only 1% agreed that big cities are currently safe.

So the party that protected and defended slavery, starting the Civil Ware to defend it, invented and defended  Jim Crow, used the KKK as its military arm, the party that fought against Civil Rights, and resisted Eisenhower’s using the National Guard to enforce racial desegregation in schools, can now add protecting criminals and attacking law enforcement to the list.

Sure, a growing number of Democrats are waking up to reality, but they are still too few and far from having any significant influence in the party. According to recent polls, many are becoming Republicans.
